Dale Wahl, before his death, started a project to collect family data packets for each of the German villages in the Black Sea area. Elena Gabriel, one of his devoted volunteers, continues to research and share information on five Catholic villages located in the Odessa, South Russia area. Our goal is to eventually add this information to a GEDCOM so it is more easily searchable but that will take time. In order to help you now, we are offering this information in PDF format. Elena has gathered information on five Catholic Odessa area villages: Blumenfeld, Franzfeld, Kleinliebental, Krasna and Mariental. Elena's work can be found at http://www.blackseagr.org/family_data.html or http://www.blackseagr.org/german/family_data.html for our German speaking visitors.

Enjoy! We hope you have success in finding information on your ancestors.
