Looking for the KITCHUR family name from Husiatyn, Galacia, Austria
back then the name was spelled as Kieczur but has also been found as Kaczur.
particular interested in Roman Kieczur and his wife Parasak Rusharchuck.

Wow, those are tough surnames to find. I have indexes of all the GFG family books of Germans in Galicia and none of those spellings show up. I also searched the members database for GGD (http://www.galiziengermandescendants.org/) and found no hits. Where did your family come from when they emigrated to Galicia?

Don't know if you are aware of the Kitchur (Kazcur) family of Gypsumville Man. They where neighbours of my grandparents the Dittmars.
The history book North-West Interlake Heritage has all the information of this family. The book is not on Our Roots web site but is available at the Manitoba Genealogy office. I also have a copy if you need any info from it.
