See http://www.grhs.org/chapters/gdo/gdo_maps.html for a map of the GDO area showing Freudental in the upper left corner (This appears to be detail from one of the Stumpp maps). and http://www.grhs.org/chapters/gdo/memonly/p-images/freudental.jpg for a street map of the village of Freudental, GDO in 1943 (also shows inhabitants of the houses). |

First of all Hello I have been doing research on Freudental and I am trying to fill in some gaps. I am descended from George Adam Sieler and His Wife Johanna. I think that her name is Krauss. Page 575 number 67 Sieler, Georg 34, aus Unterbohringen od Altenstadt/Geislingen-Wu, seine Frau Johanna 32 and seine Kinder Elizabeth 12, George 10 and Adam 3. Is Johanna related to Number 68 on Page 575? 68 Kraus, Georg 56, aus Landenburg/Mannheim-Ba (u Torschau/Ungarn) seine Frau Sophie 50, seine Kinder Johann 12, Georg 15, Katharina 12. I noticed a note that George Adam went through Torschau. So there you go. Chris Niels Sieler |
