I am looking for information about the village of Sadke/Sadky/Sadki, Volhynia, Ukraine which is just west of Zhitomir. Specifically, the Ludwig & Caroline (Janke) Schmidtke family. They had five children: Leopold, Pauline, Hulda, Mathilde, and Jonathan. Leopold married Marianne "Marie" Fischbuch, Pauline married Friedrich Wilhelm Klatt, Hulda supposedly married someone with the last name of Bogdanovich. Mathilde & Jonathan were the only children to go to America. |
