Neu Strembeni (also know as Neu-Strimba and Neu-Strymby) is located in Bessarabia, Belz district. It was founded in 1860 and was evangelical (Lutheran) village belonging to Kischinew Parish. Consisted of 446 hectares of land. Population in 1904 was 242 and 1939 it was 479. Source of this information is Ulrich Mertens book called Hanbuck Russland-Desutsch on page 514. |
