I am looking for information about my Great Grandparents Johann ( DOB: aprox 1866) and Anne Friesen from Gnadenheim.
They had a son Peter,( who disappeared) and then my Grandmother, Katherina, DOB: March 9th, 1888. Anne died in child birth, and the Johann married Anna Goertzen, and had 13 more children.
The children were: Annie, Mary, Margaret, Nettie, Elizabeth, Ageneta,( 1897-1925)(Ageneta, married a John J. Nuefeld, had 2 daughters, Annie and Helena and lived in Arkadak, Russia, Ageneta, died in Russia, he remarried Maria( last name unknown) before immigrating to Canada, first living in the Avonlea/Claybank area of Saskatchewan, then moving to Abbortsford) Justine, Helen, Isaac, Johann ( died at birth) Johann (died at birth),Johann ( died at birth) and Johann.

The Canadian Mennonite board of Colonization says my Grandmother was born in Gnadenheim.
Does anyone have any connections to the Johann Friesens from Gnadenheim?
