I had been told the name I was researching was Duba, but after looking at the various records for the Neusatz/Friedental/Zurichtal areas, I have to conclude that I am looking for Eduart or Edward Dubs. He was probably born in the 1870s or 1880s, and he married Christina Kilber, daughter of Jacob Kilber and Christina Guenthner. They remained in Crimea, and were mentioned as having taken a trip of some sort in a letter dated around 1928, give or take a year. Otherwise, I'm at a brick wall and open to suggestions and guidance. I'm still learning my way around the GR stuff. |
