I have an index of individuals who were born, baptized, married or died from 1888 to 1915 in Winnipeg and were members of the German language Trinity Lutheran Church (Evangelisch-Lutherische Dreieinigkeitsgemeinde) at Duffern & Slater and currently Flora & King. Please send me a PM if you would like a lookup.

For anyone interested in the people in these records the Trinity German Lutheran Church Collection Tree has been added to the BlackSea German Database. All 6,559 individuals found in the Trinity German Lutheran Church Digital Collection can be found in this tree.

Further to my post two weeks ago about the parish records of this church being added to the BlackSea German Database:

I recently responded to a query from Germany from a lady who had a brother who had emigrated from Germany but she knew not where. While doing a search of our Black Sea German Database she found him in the marriage records of Trinity Church so now she knows where he moved to and the names of his wife and child!

I can't stress enough to keep searching our database every month or so. We are constantly adding names. If you want to be kept up to date on happenings on our website including new additions to our database you can subscribe to the new "Black Sea Germans Group Website What's New!" Forum using the instructions given here : http://blackseagr.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=39&t=157
